There was some kind of mysteruy about the car and the driver until film director Claude Lelouch admitted he did the driving himself, in his own private Mercedes...
He was left with 8 minutes of blank film after a shooting and he decided to use it doing a one-shot sequence of this Paris crossing in the early morning...
This was done in the late 70's I think...
